TESTIMONIAL

Frank Skoda
B.Eng.,ChemicalEngineering Vysoke Skoly Chemicko-Technologicke V Praze.
Nationality: Czech
M.Sc.,Technology of Inorganic Production
I have founded my own company, served as Deputy Minister of Environment in the Czech Government, and have been a member of board of directors of Czech strategic companies with a combined turnover of several billion dollars. Nevertheless, I clearly felt that after many years of hard work in the private sector and in the government, the time had come to further enhance my skills and knowledge by pursuing an MBA degree.

Queen's MBA has the highest ranking outside the U.S. Student intake is relatively small - about 60 people - and this fact gives the program a human dimension. As you might imagine in a small class such as this, you quickly become very close with your peers. The student body is diverse and represents a unique set of knowledge, skills and experiences. You would be impressed how knowledgeable your fellow students are! The subjects are taught by top Canadian professors who are warm and approachable. The program is very intensive and lasts only one year; your family, social life, and career are interrupted only for 12 months instead of the more typical 18-24 months in the case of other programs.

Canada is a great place to live! It represents a developed multicultural society. People are very friendly, considerate, polite, tolerant and helpful. It is true that Canada is cold, but only in winter! You will be amazed how pleasant spring and summer are and how beautiful the Canadian autumn is.

I am really happy in Kingston and feel very proud to be a Queen's MBA student. And last, but not least: the job of your dreams awaits you after graduation!
