HEC Montréal's MBA program is intensive, innovative and international, with over 68% of the students coming from abroad for the Intensive MBA offered in English (the program is equally offered in French). Students are attracted from over 30 countries and have an average of six years of work experience. The program is conducted in a twelve month period including a five week teamwork consulting project. The MBA program uses a wide array of teaching methods such as case studies, debates and discussions, seminars, and lectures by guest managers.

Montréal, Québec is Canada's most cosmopolitan and international city. Bilingual and multicultural, it has the second highest concentration in North America of students per capita, with four universities, and is Canada's leader in university research. HEC Montréal is located near to the business centre of Montreal, in a new high-tech facility on the campus of the Université de Montréal.
