TESTIMONIAL

Guillermo Freire
Associate, Project Finance, Export Development Canada
Nationality: Peruvian
B. Engineering degree from Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina

In my native Peru, I had worked as a Senior Analyst in Agribusiness for the Banco de Credito del Peru, and later as a Sales Director for the Corporacion Fruticola de Chinch S.A.C. I was also an independent consultant in the agribusiness sector.

I decided to return to school to advance my career. When choosing where to study for my MBA I was looking for an international school with a good reputation, good education and located in a great city. Canada is an amazing country to live in and Canadians are very welcoming. McGill University in Montreal offered everything I was looking for with the best cost-benefit for my money.

ABOUT THE CITY

Montreal and region, with a population of over three million, is a gateway to North America. A bilingual city where you'll hear French and English spoken everywhere, you will also find some 35 other languages spoken in its many well-established cultural communities.
The city's cosmopolitan flavour is a definite asset for multinational corporations. Sixty-five international organizations and more than one hundred and twenty financial centres are located here. Canada's aerospace capital, Montreal is also home to a large number of firms in bio-pharmaceuticals, information techno-
logy and communications.
With its vast green spaces and charming neighbourhoods, the exceptional quality of life comes with a surprisingly low price tag-one of the lowest costs of living in all of North America. Montreal offers a whirl of cultural and sports activities, summer and winter. There's no end to the bistros, pubs, restaurants, hip clubs and exciting discotheques, with something for every taste and every budget.
